RING GUIDE
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE AND AFTER YOUR RING IS MADE. FROM GETTING THE SIZE RIGHT TO KEEPING YOUR PIECE LOOKING ITS BEST.
-
Getting the ring size right before we begin designing is important. If your partner already owns a ring that fits the correct finger, use a ruler or vernier to measure the inside diameter in millimetres. You can also visit your nearest jewellery store and try on rings to confirm the size. If you’re keeping the proposal a surprise, ask a close friend or family member to take your partner ring shopping and subtly have their ring finger sized. If you’ve already spoken about getting engaged, the best option is to simply have your partner visit a jeweller and get professionally sized. We don’t recommend guessing a ring size, as even a small difference can affect the final fit.
-
Borrow one of their rings, ask someone close to them for help, or arrange for a friend to casually take them to try on rings.
-
Remove your ring for gym, cleaning, gardening, swimming, heavy lifting and other hands-on activities.
-
Use warm water, mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
-
Keep it separately in a soft pouch or jewellery box to help prevent unnecessary scratching.
